Erfurt (dpa/th) – Planning processes in Thuringia are to be handled more digitally. This provides for an amended state planning law that was passed by the state parliament in Erfurt on Friday with the votes of the Left, SPD, Greens and FDP. Representatives of the governing coalition said it was about more speed in the procedures and thus in investments.
Infrastructure Minister Susanna Karawanskij (left) said that citizens and companies will in future be able to access planning documents via the Internet. However, it is not about a complete relocation of planning processes to the Internet – “we don’t want to exclude anyone”. Documents could also be sent in the future.
For statements on planning procedures, a period of two months would be retained in Thuringia and not reduced to one month as provided for by the federal government.
