Jena (dpa/th) – Two 20-year-olds fell from a scaffolding about four meters high while working on the building of the Jena University of Applied Sciences and were seriously injured. The two men worked together on the building on Thursday afternoon when their 16-year-old colleague was supposed to move the scaffolding, which was on rollers, police said on Friday. Accordingly, the scaffolding shook due to unevenness in the ground and toppled over. Both men sustained serious injuries in the fall. The police and the Office for Occupational Safety and Health have started the investigation.
