Jolie had sold her share of the estate in southern France to Tenute del Mondo in October 2021. The company is a subsidiary of Russian billionaire and oligarch Yuri Shefler’s Stoli Group. Pitt said the sale was made with “toxic intentions” and his ex-wife’s intent to “do harm,” according to a court document seen by People. Shefler operates “cutthroat business tactics” and maintains “shady professional contacts”, are further allegations in the documents.
“Jolie tried to force Pitt into a partnership with a third party. And worse, with a stranger with toxic connections and intentions,” Pitt’s attorneys write. Your client now fears a hostile takeover of his wine company by Yuri Shefler’s Stoli Group.
