A parent at Virginia is losing his patience seeing local colleges being closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“You should be fired out of your day tasks,” that the mask-wearing dad states throughout the public comment part of a recent interview,”as if your companies that understood you’re inefficient compared to the DMV, you’d be substituted in a heartbeat”
“This daddy has had enough, most of us have. No actual metrics to securely open the colleges, while thre [school board] proceeds to kick the can farther down the street. Many parents feel like he does”
The movie continues with the father growing increasingly furious as he handles the board.
“I just completed a conference call since I am needing to multitask to be here to address one men. You are a lot of cowards, hiding behind our kids as a justification for maintaining schools closed.
“You think you are some kind of martyrs,” he proceeds, frustration evident building,”due to the decisions you are making when the numbers don’t lie, the great bulk of the populace isn’t at risk from this particular virus.
Eventually he explodes in anger:”The garbage employees who choose up my friggin’ crap risk their lives daily longer than anybody in this school program!
Or eliminate the podium. You will find people like me and also lots of different people around who will happily take your chair and find it out. It isn’t a top bar. Boost the friggin’ pub!”
The movie has attracted a lot of answers — both from individuals who sympathize with the dad’s frustration and out of other people that criticize him for becoming mad.
“I can not blame him for becoming upset, although I am sure each one the calm, affordable peole who spoke at this college board meeting did not obtain their video broadly publicized as a outcome.”
“This guy isn’t helping by threatening and crying,” the other commenter countered. “He wants to pull it all together. Support is finally on the road “
Another commenter completely encouraged the frustrated parent.
“He is 100% right,” that the commenter wrote. “Politicians are too afraid to make a determination, they simply replicate what other counties do. There is no balance, they are letting the market expire. They’ve no skin in this sport. Their jobs are there if we lock for one more year… or some other 10 decades.
