The Catholic Santoral honors today, October 15 to Santa Teresa de Jesús, also known as Santa Teresa de Ávila.

Born in 1515 and baptized as Teresa Sánchez de Cepeda Dávila and smoked, he founded the Order of the Barefoot Carmelites as well as 16 other convents in only 20 years.

Santa Teresa is known for her visions and mystical experiences to which her confessors qualify as imaginary or even as a demon work.
She considers her, along with San Juan de la Cruz, the summit of Christian experimental mystique.
