The ‘fintech’ Verse, a competitor of Bizum, has announced this Thursday in an email to its customers that it will close on September 13 and has asked them to withdraw the money from the application and transfer it to their bank account.

“We do not make decisions like this lightly, since we know that they affect our clients, our partners and the members of our team,” he says in a statement published on his website and collected by Europa Press.

Verse has explained that they close because they have not been able to “identify a sustainable route” for the company that allows them to continue growing and provide innovation to customers.

What differentiates this app from the rest of the financial applications is that, in addition to the typical functionalities of a bank, it also offers others more typical of a social network: creation of groups, organization of events, personalization of the user name, games, contests or a social feed to connect with friends.
