Explora Journeys has announced the upcoming arrival of its third vessel in the UK, marking a significant milestone for the luxury cruise line. The larger ship is set to debut during its maiden European season in 2026, offering travelers a unique and unforgettable experience.
Maiden Voyage Details
The inaugural sailing of Explora III is scheduled to depart from Barcelona on 3 August 2026, followed by a cruise from Lisbon on 10 August. The vessel will then embark on a journey starting from Southampton on 17 August 2026, making stops at various destinations in the Netherlands, Norway, Estonia, Sweden, Germany, Iceland, and Greenland before heading to North America.
Luxurious Accommodations and Amenities
Featuring a total of 463 suites, Explora III will offer a range of luxurious accommodations, including Ocean Suites, Ocean Penthouses, Ocean Residences, and Owner’s Residences. With an increased focus on Ocean Penthouses and Ocean Residencies compared to its predecessors, the new vessel aims to provide guests with unparalleled comfort and sophistication.
The ship’s restaurants, including Anthology, Sakura, Fil Rouge, Med Yacht Club, Marble & Co. Grill, and Emporium Marketplace, promise a diverse culinary experience for passengers. Additionally, an expanded sports court offering activities like pickleball, padel, and basketball, along with the Nautilus Club for children and teens, ensure entertainment for guests of all ages.

Notably, Explora III will be the first Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) vessel in the luxury line’s fleet, demonstrating a commitment to environmental sustainability.
