The luxury car company Ferrari will accept payment in cryptocurrencies for its cars in the United States, while extending this system to Europe if its customers demand it.
This was confirmed by Ferrari’s commercial and marketing director, Enrico Galliera, to the Reuters news agency, while indicating that cryptocurrencies are making efforts to reduce their carbon footprint.

For the initial phase in the United States, the company has hired the cryptocurrency payment processing company BitPay, while the currencies in which it will allow transactions will be bitcoin, ether and USDC, one of those considered “stablecoins.”
In fiscal 2022, the company sold 13,221 vehicles, 18.5% more, while in the accumulated of the first two quarters of this year, it increased its sales by 4%, with 6,959 units.
