MBA in IESE Business School
The IESE Business School has strengthened its presence in Madrid with the construction of a new building, in which you are going to invest 52 million euros, and the launch of a new program, the “Master in Management” (MiM), aimed at recent graduates and young professionals.
This bet for the Madrid campus responds to three objectives: to place the school in the city as a centre of excellence in the training of managers, increase the number of teachers and expand the educational offer with the creation of new programs, highlighted from the school of business.
The new building will become the IESE business school in Madrid, “a true centre of excellence for the training of managers”, for example, through Programs Custom International, area in that the IESE experience “is a world leader, allowing you to increase the teaching and research activities by 50%, and providing a meeting space to more than 15,000 alumni of the capital.”
The new facility, which will open in September 2020, will have four new classrooms, a classroom multi-purpose high technology, and an auditorium for over 500 persons.
In total, will be constructed of 16,300 square meters, with a parking of more than 300 seats in a garden setting of 6,000 square feet.
The new building aims to achieve Leed Gold certification, their commitment to the preservation of the environment and the eco-friendly policies.
In this sense, it is going to work with the goal of facilitating connections to the campus of the IESE business school with the centre of the city in a sustainable way.
the expansion of The campus will double the number of teachers, which will go from 25 to 50, which will allow the development of new research projects, innovation and entrepreneurship.
The enlargement of the cloister will encourage the generation and exchange of new ideas, will work more close to the Alumni and to accompany the entrepreneurs, looked to the same sources.
Before the opening of the new building, will begin the new program “full-time” in English, the MiM, which will begin in September 2019.
“Addressed to newly-graduates and with a duration of one academic year, represents a great milestone for IESE business school and shows the commitment to address the training needs at all stages of development of an officer”.
This program will have a scholarship fund of half a million euros.
The IESE, school of business administration, University of Navarra, landed in Madrid in 1974 at the request of former students who lived in the capital and in 1991 he inaugurated the present campus which is then expanded in 2004.
