Apple’s marketing chief Phil Schiller admits, after more than three decades in the group, from his Post. The 60-year-old top Manager will take care of in the future as an “Apple Fellow” next to the App-Store and corporate Events, the group announced in Cupertino. The successor was promoted with Greg “Joz” Joswiak, his Deputy, for more than 20 years in the company.
Schiller hired in 1987 at Apple and counted since the return of the legendary former CEO Steve Jobs in 1997 to the management team. Through his performances during the famous product presentations of the company, he is one of the most famous faces from Apple.
Schiller is the fourth Top Manager in Apple, which will meet within 18 months. Previously head of Design, Jony Ive, PR chief Steve Dowling and the retail boss had gone, Angela Ahrendts.
