Agents of the National Police have arrested a man in Soria who assaulted his partner while he was making a live video on a social network, as reported by the Government Sub-delegation in Soria.
In the video, a user of a social network, while she was chatting live with three young boys, received a strong slap.
The victim, after the assault, initially stated that the alleged perpetrator of the assault was her father, although in a later direct statement the young woman explained that it was her partner who had assaulted him.
The video, which since last Saturday, January 28, went viral on the internet, reached the social networks of the National Police and the National Police investigators at the Soria Provincial Police Station, from where the agents identified and proceeded to locate of the alleged offender.
The victim of the attack appeared this Tuesday morning at the provincial police station to communicate that, as a result of that video and because of the scope it was having, he was receiving a multitude of threats and insults.
The agents, in the presence of the young man and after the inquiries carried out, have arrested the man as the alleged perpetrator of the attack.
The Family and Women’s Care Unit (UFAM) has been in charge of processing the police report and after its completion they have made the victim’s partner available to the judicial authority.
