The Spanish economy has fallen two places to number the thirty-position, in the ranking of the economies with the highest ease of doing business annually prepared by the World Bank, and who, in the edition by 2019, the returns to be led by New Zealand, Singapore and Denmark, which repeated, in that order, in the first three positions.
The report ‘Doing Business 2019’ analyzes a total of ten parameters that serve to establish the classification of the overall rankings. Among the categories are the necessary formalities to open a company, the protection of investors, the time necessary to deal with the taxes or the ease of registering a property.
In issue number 16 of the report, which examines a total of 190 economies, Spain has achieved an improvement in almost all parameters, so that the fall in the rankings because other economies have made more reforms and have improved even more the results.

At the global level, New Zealand has returned to lead the ranking, followed by Singapore and Denmark, which hold second and third place, respectively, in comparison with the last year.
the rest of The ten first positions of the ranking correspond to Hong Kong (4th), South Korea (5th), Georgia (6th), Norway (7th), united States (8th), United Kingdom (9th) and Macedonia (10), which converts to Lithuania (14th) in the first economy of the euro zone for its ease of doing business, ahead of Estonia (16th), Finland (17th) and Latvia (19th).
On the opposite end of the spectrum lie countries like Somalia (190°), Eritrea (189º), Venezuela (188th), or Yemen (187th), considered to be the countries that offer worse conditions for doing business in all over the world.
The ten economies that have most improved this year in his position, in terms of the reforms undertaken, have been Afghanistan, Djibouti, China, Azerbaijan, India, Togo, Kenya, Ivory Coast, Turkey, and Rwanda.
In total, the World Bank has posted a record of 314 structural reforms to improve the business climate in the last 12 months and in 128 economies.
The emerging and developing economies have been the most reforms have been implemented. Thus, the countries of sub-Saharan Africa region have accumulated a total of 107 reforms, while that in the region of the middle East and North Africa have made 43 reforms in the last year.
