Train traffic will be slightly disrupted on Friday on certain regional lines but normal for the TGV, due to the strike movement for wage increases and gender equality launched at the call of the inter-union, announced, Thursday October 12, SNCF. Some TER lines will be disrupted and the SNCF invites travelers to find out region by region.
In Ile-de-France, the disruptions will mainly concern the RER D and C with two trains out of three, as for lines H, L, U and R of the Transilien. On line N, there will be three trains out of four. Everywhere else, service will be normal. On the RATP network (metro, bus and trams) in the capital, traffic will not experience any difficulty.
This weak mobilization in transport comes two weeks after a strike at the SNCF to denounce the opening to competition and the dismantling of Fret SNCF, which had already received little attention. The unions are emerging from a harsh social movement against the pension reform which led to 14 days of inter-professional strike and a renewable strike launched on March 7 by all the SNCF unions.
