The 2023 Formula 1 World Cup kicks off this weekend with the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Max Verstappen and Oracle Red Bull Racing were crowned last season with hardly any cracks and it does not seem that they are going to drop the lead in 2023. They added 15 victories in 18 races.

At Ferrari, with Carlos Sainz in their ranks, and Mercedes with Lewis Hamilton, who is looking for his eighth crown, they will try to tie the Dutch driver short in the next 23 races.

As the fourth driver in contention is Fernando Alonso who with his Aston Martin promises days of glory near the podium. He has an army of 20 Spanish engineers in his team.

Formula 1 races in Spain can be followed live through the DAZN platform and on channel 63 of Movistar.
