The German Telekom and the software group SAP is to build for the European Commission, a Warning platform, the Corona-Apps in various countries, linked to each other. You can confirm that the mandate of the EU Commission, “was on the verge of completion,” said a Telekom spokesperson.
The platform should allow the Corona-Warning-Apps in various countries to communicate with each other, so that the alerts work across borders or abroad. The cooperation will first of all concern States that similar solutions, such as Germany such as the Netherlands, Austria or Denmark.
Telekom and SAP had developed together with the German Corona-Warning-App. Lastly, there was a problem, because the App had to work properly. This should be resolved by now. So far, the Apps, the EU is not able to communicate-States, however, a cross-border basis and to generate alerts.
