This Thursday Tania Llasera became the one expelled from MasterChef Celebrity 8 after a bad trick with an Indian dish and after going to the elimination test after last week Jordi Cruz gave her the black apron for helping Palito Dominguín during the test elimination. However, the presenter and writer did not become the protagonist because of her expulsion but because of some controversial words directed at the medalist, national police officer and winner of MasterChef Celebrity, Saúl Craviotto.
During the outdoor test on MasterChef celebrity, the team went to the National Police school in Ávila to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the force. Saúl Craviotto was in charge of designing the menu and being the godfather of the culinary talent’s visit to the Academy. It is not a lie to say that each appearance of Saúl Craviotto on MasterChef is always accompanied by comments about the athlete’s physique. It’s not something new. However, in this Thursday’s program Tania Llasera went one step further, provoking the indignation of many followers on social networks.
Although all the women in the edition paid the occasional compliment to Saúl Craviotto, Tania Llasera did not hold back when saying “how good he really is.” “How handsome,” said Toñi Moreno. “Saúl, National Police, Olympic medalist and also winner of MasterChef Celebrity 2, what more could you ask for?” Pepe Rodríguez introduced him, to which Tania Llasera responded with “nothing, he’s not married.”
“What a body that policeman has,” Laura Londoño was heard saying, also generating some controversy. But Tania Llasera was going to go much further: “Craviotto is another issue, it’s another level. A clean, polite boy, he’s a boy you would introduce to your mother and at the same time you want him to fuck with you. It’s a wonderful thing,” the presenter blurted out. The reactions to these words did not take long to receive countless criticisms. Some criticism that has led Tania Llasera to have to apologize in a video published on Instagram.
“I take back my words. I learn day by day about myself and it is not difficult for me to ask for forgiveness in capital letters to Craviotto and his family. If you have felt uncomfortable or bothered by my words in yesterday’s program, I am very sorry,” he begins Llasera in the video. “I guess it was meant to be funny (in the key of TV and humor) and I wasn’t funny at all. They were just words, but ugly and out of place. We all make mistakes, but it’s fair, if you realize, and have the opportunity, to retract them “says Tania Llasera in the text that accompanies the video.
“I was wrong, it was after the whole day, I was tired. But that’s no excuse. What I wanted to say with my words with Saúl is that he is practically perfect and in the end I got those words that were so profane and vulgar that above all they objectify a gentleman who is an Olympian, one of the best athletes we have. That was what had to take precedence,” he continues.
An apology to which Saúl Craviotto himself has responded by writing a comment on Tania Llasera’s apology video: “Tania, please… I have not felt bad at all! We know each other and we have confidence to do these things, it is a cooking show but we know that humor and jokes on Masterchef are essential to entertain people, I laughed at it! In my case in particular (and that of my wife), you don’t have to apologize for anything.”
