For three Germans, the winter vacation ends in the hospital: all three have an accident on the same day in a ski area in Austria. Two 54 and 44-year-old women collide with others on the slope, a seven-year-old crashes into a lift support.

In several skiing accidents in the Austrian ski area of ??Sölden in the state of Tyrol, three Germans were seriously injured on Friday. As reported by the APA news agency, citing the Tyrolean state police, a seven-year-old boy was among the injured who crashed into a padded lift support at high speed during a ski course in the early afternoon.

Two women aged 54 and 44 were injured in collisions with other skiers. According to the police, the seven-year-old was traveling on the Giggijoch when he lost control of his journey and drove uncontrolled towards the valley. The 44-year-old also collided with a 13-year-old Austrian on the Giggijoch, who was not injured. The 54-year-old collided with another winter sports enthusiast on the Tiefenbachferner and fell.

The three seriously injured Germans were transported by helicopter to nearby hospitals after the accident. On December 28, two 17-year-old skiers from Bavaria had a fatal accident in the Steinplatte-Waidring ski area in the Tyrolean district of Kitzbühel in Austria.
