“I didn’t like my sister performing MY SONGS to remixes at an awards show. She wrote: “My so-called support network hurt me deeply! “
Spears seemed to be referring to Jamie Lynn’s performance at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards where she was awarded the Icon Award. Spears’ latest Instagram post seemed to clarify a previous post about her “closest friends” and those she feels have failed.
Internet critics have criticized Jamie Lynn Spears for her silence regarding her sister’s conservatorship. On June 28, Britney took to Instagram in order to address Britney’s legal issues. She stated that she had “only loved, adored, and supported” Britney and that she doesn’t stand to benefit from her conservatorship.
Britney Spears’ most recent Instagram post also took shots at Jamie, reiterating her intent to retire live performance. My dad is not going to be directing what I wear, think, and say on any stage. She wrote: “I have done that for 13 years… I’d rather share videos…from the comfort of my living room.”
She also targeted documentaries that highlighted “humiliating moments in the past” once again, presumably including Framing Britney Spears (New York Times Emmy nominee).
There are also those who criticize Spears’ home-made dance videos. “You’re lucky that I post anything at ALL… if what you see isn’t your cup of tea, unfollow me!” In response, Spears wrote: “If you don’t want to watch my precious ass dance in my living room, or it’s not up to your standards, then go read a book!” “
After a string of public incidents, Spears was placed under conservatorship in 2008. On June 28, she asked Brenda Penny, a Los Angeles judge, to end the conservatorship. Although her legal battle is ongoing, she was allowed to appoint her own lawyer.

Britney Spears slammed those who did not help her in her time and blamed them on Instagram. This message appeared to be directed at people who have only recently begun speaking up for her in regard to her conservatorship.
Spears stated that they knew who you were, although no names were given.
The post said, “Never forget to ignore them when you need them” and that they helped you before even you had to ask.
