A car driver in Lower Saxony is lucky in an accident at night: she falls seven meters from a bridge with her car – and survives. Three occupants of an approaching car can just about avoid a collision by braking.

A woman fell about seven meters with her car from a bridge in Lower Saxony and almost crashed into another vehicle. According to the fire department, your car broke through the railing of the bridge in Lehrte on Wednesday night and landed on a street below, where it remained on the roof.

The driver of an approaching car, which was only about 15 meters away, was able to brake just in time. Together with his passengers, he cared for the injured woman, who was able to free herself from the completely destroyed wreck. The 58-year-old was taken to the hospital but was not in mortal danger, police said.

The cause of the accident initially remained unclear. A police spokesman said no other vehicles were involved. The woman’s car was totaled.
