The railway is currently struggling with unplanned disabilities in parts of North Rhine-Westphalia and Bavaria. After a breakdown, no trains can currently run to Dortmund. On the Munich-Nuremberg route, staff shortages are causing significant delays.

There are currently massive disruptions to the railways in Dortmund and on an important route in Bavaria. As the company announces online, there are currently no trains going to Dortmund train station. The reason is a defective signal box. Trains would be diverted or canceled altogether. Numerous ICE and EC connections are also affected. Deutsche Bahn expects the regulations to apply until midday.

In Bavaria, the important Munich-Nuremberg ICE route has been affected by unscheduled disruptions. The section between the state capital and Ingolstadt is currently closed due to the short-term illness of staff. All ICE connections on the Munich-Ingolstadt-Nuremberg route are affected. The trains would be diverted and delayed by up to an hour and a half. Ingolstadt train station can currently only be reached by regional trains from Nuremberg or Regensburg.

In addition, individual connections failed completely. Here, too, Deutsche Bahn expects the situation to relax from midday.

The group recommends travelers to find out about the individual connections online, via the app or by calling 030/72970.
