The Wisconsin Lottery did not immediately reveal where the winning ticket was sold. According to the California Lottery, the winning ticket in California was purchased at a convenience store 7-Eleven in Sacramento.
Powerball’s Wednesday night draw resulted in the following numbers: 6, 14, 25, 33, and 46. The Powerball was 17.
Splitting $450 million is an option for the winners. Although the jackpot was the largest ever won in Powerball history, it did not rank among the top 10 most significant in U.S. lottery history.
There were 14 additional tickets that could win several million dollars in the drawing.
Powerball can be played in 45 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico.
