Mediaset continues with the profound renovation of its contents. This Friday, the group has announced a new live event program for the prime time of Cuatro. Código 10, which will be hosted by David Aleman and which is in the pre-production phase, will review the most outstanding crimes and events of today and will analyze in depth historical cases that have shocked Spanish society.
The new space, carried out by Producciones Mandarina, will focus its “fundamental support” on information, unpublished testimonies, new evidence and exclusives from journalist Nacho Abad, Mediaset reports in a statement. The crime reporter returned to the group last summer, after nine years as a collaborator in Espejo Público. He did it to join the Cuatro En boca de todos program, from the same production company as the new Código 10.
Código 10 will address several cases every week in the form of true crime-style reports, with reconstructions of the events, archive images, testimonies and documentary vocation.
As for the collaborators of the new event space, Mediaset only points out that there will be “renowned experts in criminology, forensic science, psychiatry and psychology, as well as representatives of police forces and lawyers” on a regular basis.
The direct will allow connections with reporters when current events require it, says Mediaset.
