Sandro Rey (55) describes himself as “artist and sensitive”. But for Spanish television it has been much more than that. The seer, who lives in Granollers, began talking about the future on La Sexta in the 2010s, and soon became talent fodder. In 2014 he was crowned the contestant with the most media coverage in the second edition of Look who jumps.
A year later, the fortune teller made the step to Big Brother VIP and became, he says, “the king of the trending topic.” That experience would open the doors to other job challenges, such as music, where he had a short but striking career as a singer whose starting signal came in 2017 with his first single, Lagarta.
Although he has not been seen in Mediaset programs for a long time, that does not mean that he has left the screen. “This summer I have had a lot of work, I returned to television two months ago. Before I collaborated in programs 10 minutes, 15 minutes… But now I have my own complete program. It is called The future in your hand and it is broadcast on national channels of DTT”, he comments to EL MUNDO.
I have bitter memories of ‘Look who’s jumping’, it’s that the hosts were horrible. My neck still hurts
I guarantee Mediaset a program with a large audience. Not like Cristina Tárrega’s, which is disastrous
I am a pro-independence party because Catalonia pays more taxes. In the rest, no. I don’t understand why saying it seems like a crime
I predict a long future for Jorge Javier on the sofa, with that donkey in his garden and watching TV
