The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has received some of the actors from Cuéntame at the Moncloa Palace after the end of this legendary RTVE television series, 22 years after its premiere.
In a relaxed atmosphere, Sánchez has shared laughter and talks with actors such as Imanol Arias (Antonio), Ana Duato (Mercedes), María Galiana (Herminia) and Irene Visedo (Inés), all of them members of the Alcántara family in the popular series.
With them and other workers in the series, Sánchez has had coffee, toured some of the rooms of La Moncloa and posed on the steps where the family photo of the President of the Government with his ministers usually takes place.
“For 22 years we have lived the history of our country through the Alcántara. We have laughed, suffered, cried and enjoyed with you. Thank you to everyone who made ‘Cuéntame’ possible, a series by everyone and for everyone. See you always! “Family!” Sánchez wrote on his social network account X (formerly Twitter).
On November 29, TVE broadcast the last episode of Cuéntame, which for 23 seasons has traced, through the adventures of the Alcántara family, a portrait of Spain from 1968 to 2001, the year in which the broadcast began and in which develops the last chapter of the series.
