Live comedy on set is the main feature of José Mota Live Show, the new program by José Mota and Patricia Conde that will premiere very soon on La 1.
It is a weekly space in which Mota will review the hot news of this summer accompanied by Patricia Conde and the collaborators of his famous sketch programs, which viewers will be able to enjoy in their usual format and, for the first time, also in direct on set
José Mota’s objective is “for immediacy to prevail in comedy over what is prepared”. “We are in a television moment in which what is lived prevails, even if it is imperfect. There is a script that is a guide, but there is a margin for madness and improvisation and what you do not expect. We want a show with interviews, but not interviews to the use. The guests come to play”, has affirmed the comedian. He has also highlighted that Patricia Conde “combines a number of wonderful artistic qualities.”
The presenter has described her experience as “a wonderful adventure”. “I had already worked with great comedians in this country, but Mota was missing. And Joaquín Zamora told me that this was the perfect thing for me. I love working with this comedy genius and in this house. José is intelligent and sensitive, and knows how to give the public what they want”, said Conde, who is also preparing a new project, Invictus, which will premiere soon on RTVE.
For his part, Zamora, co-director of the program, has expressed his desire to “transfer the world of José Mota and his creativity to a plate with an audience that will experience it live and exploit the infinite resources. It is to see his work in live sketch and close to the news, musical numbers, with an audience loyal to José that comes to enjoy”.
During the press conference some of the collaborators of the program have been revealed. Among them, Susi Caramelo, Paco Collado, Jorge Luengo or the Magician More. In addition, one of the guests on the first program will be Santiago Segura.
