Estudio 6 in Prado del Rey will host this Thursday one of the great events of the campaign for the general elections on July 23: the seven-person electoral debate between the spokespersons of the parties with their own parliamentary group in Congress. Organized by RTVE, it will be broadcast live on La 1, Canal 24 Horas, TVE Internacional, Radio Nacional, Radio 5, Radio Exterior, the RTVE.es website and the RTVE Play platform.
The journalist Xabier Fortes will moderate this meeting, in which the spokespersons of the PSOE (Patxi López), PP (Cuca Gamarra), VOX (Iván Espinosa de los Monteros), Sumar (Aina Vidal), ERC (Gabriel Rufián), PNV ( Aitor Esteban) and EH Bildu (Oskar Matute).
With a duration of 125 minutes, the debate will be structured in four thematic blocks: economy; social politics; land policy; and state and post-electoral pacts. There will also be a final turn of one minute for each participant (golden minute).
The opening and closing turns of each block and the positions of the spokespersons on the set have been established by lottery. The stopwatches to measure the times of the interventions will be managed by professional sports referees.
Before the debate, the newscast and the news program ’24 Horas’ on RNE will offer the context of this outstanding appointment of the electoral campaign. And at the end, there will be a special post-debate program on La 1 and Canal 24 Horas, presented by Lluís Guilera.
