Sidharth Shukla, actor, had always defied all odds in his career. Many in the television and film industry view appearing on the reality show Bigg Boss as a desperate and futile attempt to stop their slide into insignificance. Shukla, who won in 2019 the 13th edition, became a household name and established himself as a true reality TV star.
He was 40 years old and died Thursday morning from what is believed to be a heart attack. He was forty-eight years old. His exact cause of death is still unknown.
Shukla made his TV debut with Balika Vadhu (2012). He played the role of Shivraj Shakhar, a District Collector. Shukla was the role’s protagonist for three years to overwhelming success, and he won multiple awards. He was then invited to star in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014). This time, he received praise.
Mumbai police officers said Shukla complained about chest pains at his Oshiwara home in Mumbai around 9 a.m., before collapsing.
His mother, sister and brother-in-law were all present at the time. The doctor who visited the house discovered that he did not have a pulse.
An officer in police said that the family called an ambulance to rush to Dr. RN Cooper hospital. He was declared dead at the hospital before they arrived at 9.45 am.
Dr R Sukhdev (head of the forensics department) confirmed that Shukla had been brought to death on Thursday morning. In the afternoon, Dr. R. Sukhdev conducted the post-mortem examination.
Doctors and police did not find any external injuries on the body of the victim before the autopsy. Dr Sailesh Mohite (dean at Dr RN Cooper) declined to comment on the findings of the autopsy.
