Antena 3 offered a new gala for the third edition of Mask Singer on Wednesday May 24: Guess who sings. As in previous weeks, the program revealed the identities of two celebrities who were hiding under the masks. The spectators verified that ElRubius was wearing the Tigre costume and that Feliciano López was the one who was hiding behind the Skeleton costume.
Tigre was one of the masks of group A that returned to the stage of the format. His second video of clues left phrases like “my strategy is perseverance, work and passion” and “I have a reputation as a conqueror”. The participant sang Todo de ti, by Rauw Alejandro.
Javier Calvo indicated that under the mask was Luis Fonsi, while Javier Ambrossi named Omar Montes. Ana Obregón’s bet was Ricky Rubio and Mónica Naranjo opted for Saúl Craviotto.
The investigators did not hit the nail on the head, since Tigre had to reveal his identity and reveal that he was ElRubius. “The number one ‘youtuber’ in the world is here!” exclaimed Arturo Valls.
The presenter asked him: “But what are you doing here? How has this been?” He explained that he had decided to go to Mask Singer because her mother was excited: “I do whatever it takes for her. She has been worth it.”
Like his unmasked partner, Esqueleto returned to the show with a second clue video. The contestant commented that his parents were the best example of true love, that he was the “fastest skull in the underworld” and that sometimes “a bit of life on the right” is missing in said place. Javier Calvo said that the person who was under the disguise was Feliciano López. Her teammates also opted for figures from the world of tennis, since Ana Obregón named Carlos Moyá and Mónica Naranjo opted for Rafa Nadal. For his part, Javier Ambrossi chose Manolo Lama.
Esqueleto had to remove his mask after his “truelo” with Caballito de mar and Gallo, revealing to everyone that he was Feliciano López. The athlete looked at the investigators after showing his face and addressed the one he had guessed right: “Javi, bastard!” The aforementioned explained that his uncle is Nacho Calvo, a tennis commentator, and that he had seen many games as a child.
The contestant shared about his time with Mask Singer: “It’s been quite an experience because it was impossible to fit the dates. I really wanted to do it… I wanted to see a different side of myself, come here and have a good time.”
