Filming for season 14 of La que se avecina began last April. Although the premiere date has not yet been set, the return of a mythical character has already been revealed in the upcoming episodes.
Álvaro Giraldo played Amador Rivas Junior, also known as Ojos de Pollo, and will resume his role in season 14. The interpreter confirmed his return through Instagram, where he shared an image of the script. “Yesterday I revived so many emotions, after such a long time, but with the same desire and the same enthusiasm as always, thank you,” he wrote.
As FórmulaTV confirms, in season 14 all the children of Amador (Pablo Chiapella) and Maite (Eva Isanta) will appear, and it is that, in addition to Giraldo, Carlota Boza, Nano Boza and Rodrigo Espinar will also participate. However, they will not return as fixed characters, but will only be in one chapter. In season 13, Carlota Boza was the only one of the young actors who had a small role.
In addition to Giraldo’s return, it was confirmed months ago that Macarena Gómez and Miren Ibarguren would return in season 14. In the previous installment, Gómez only appeared in three episodes because she was carrying out other projects. For her part, Ibarguren temporarily left fiction in the fourth chapter, since she was pregnant. The next installment will once again feature Paz Padilla in the role of Chusa. The actress left the series in 2022 after being fired by Mediaset, but later resumed her employment relationship with the company, making it possible for her to return to production.
As for the casualties, Vanesa Romero has confirmed that she will not return in season 14. “I will not return to La que se avecina because I am embarked on other projects and I could not combine them with the long work sessions of the series. I leave great people there friends, because we were a big family,” he explained in an interview with Pronto magazine.
While waiting for season 14 to be released, the fiction renewed for one more installment. “Montepinarians, we can now give you good news: we are going to record season 13 of La que se avecina in 2022. And season 14 in 2023. And season 15 in 2024. We already have new sets, where we are building the new building. Our sick minds are already with the scripts. We will continue to report,” announced the creator of the series, Alberto Caballero, on Twitter.
