Terrence Beasor, Veteran Character Actor from ‘Walk Hard’ and ‘The Middle’, Passes Away at 89
Terrence Beasor, a veteran character actor known for his roles in Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, The Middle, and The Gods Must Be Crazy, has passed away at the age of 89.
Beasor died on May 28 at his home in Santa Monica, with his wife of over 55 years, actress Muriel Minot, by his side. Throughout his 40-year career, Beasor appeared in numerous TV shows, including The Incredible Hulk, Cheers, L.A. Law, and Parks and Recreation.
In addition to his on-screen work, Beasor also lent his voice to several Star Trek series and video games. He was born on February 2, 1935, in Omaha, Nebraska, and moved to Los Angeles at a young age. After serving in the Navy, Beasor pursued a career in acting, ultimately meeting his wife while working in theater.
The couple spent time in Massachusetts, where they co-directed various shows, before relocating to Los Angeles. In honor of Beasor’s memory, the family has requested donations to Entertainment Connections, formerly known as the Actors Fund.
