UberEats, the food delivery service affiliated with ride-sharing app Uber, is launching in San Antonio today.

Here’s how it works: Users download the UberEats app onto their smartphones, select a participating restaurant and order. Though the app, users can monitor the progress of their orders, from the time the food is being prepared, picked up by a driver and delivered.

Some 100 restaurants in San Antonio are partnering with the app, company representatives say. Among them Bakery Lorraine, Hot Joy, and Botika.

UberEats is a standalone app and separate from the Uber ride app.

Check it out at UberEats.com.
