Japanese designer Nigo has teamed up with Nike for an upcoming collaboration that is generating a lot of buzz. The highly anticipated sneakers are set to be released soon, but there is a special opportunity for fans to get their hands on them early.
Record executive Steven Victor announced an exclusive pop-up event called “I Know Nigo Too!” in New York City via Instagram. The pop-up will feature Nigo’s unreleased Nike Air Force 3 collaboration, as well as the “I Know Nigo Too!” Nike Air Force 1 Low, which has already been teased on social media.
The “I Know Nigo Too!” Nike Air Force 1 Low features a classic white-on-white colorway with premium tumbled leather and custom details. The shoe includes special branding on the tongue and embroidery of the Victor Victor Worldwide logo on the heel. Only 25 units of the Air Force 1 Lows have been gifted to select friends and family, including rapper Lil Uzi Vert.
Nigo’s studio album “I Know Nigo!” was released in 2022 by Victor Victor Worldwide and Republic Records, featuring collaborations with artists like ASAP Rocky, Tyler the Creator, and Pharrell Williams. The new branding on the Nike shoes suggests a potential new album release from the designer in the near future.
