"Being Mary Jane" star Gabrielle Union said she transforms into a character from a horror movie when she watches the kids she shares with Bulls guard Dwyane Wade not give full effort in competition.

"You’ve traveled, you’ve given up your weekend and you go to this tournament and everyone’s hyped and your child decides they’re not going to give a full effort, do you understand? Me and Dwyane lose our minds," Union told Steve Harvey on Tuesday’s episode of his talk show.

"This is the best interview I’ve ever had," Harvey said.

Union and Wade raise his sons Zaire, 15; Zion, 9; and Xavier, 3; and his teenage nephew Dahveon. The couple, who wed in 2014, moved to the Gold Coast neighborhood last year when Wade joined the Bulls.

"Steve Harvey," which tapes in Chicago, airs 2 p.m. weekdays on WMAQ-Ch. 5.
