In Stade, Lower Saxony, a man was shot dead late Monday evening and two others were seriously injured. According to the police, there was an argument between several people in a restaurant in the city center around 11:30 p.m., which then continued in front of the restaurant. There, a 23-year-old was shot in the upper body. The man was injured so badly that he died shortly thereafter, despite attempts at resuscitation.
Two other people were seriously injured a little later in an argument between three men on a nearby company site. A 28-year-old suffered serious head injuries. A 39-year-old was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the upper body, but is no longer in mortal danger.
The police then cordoned off the crime scenes and searched the neighboring buildings. No other people were found there, but officers found a gun with a silencer in the stairwell of the company building. It is currently being checked whether it was the murder weapon.
A total of four men involved in the argument were arrested according to the police. The police homicide squad took over the investigation. The officials also check to what extent the crimes are related.
