A man who provided massages at the luxurious Ritz hotel in Paris was indicted on Thursday for rape, a judicial source announced to Agence France-Presse on Friday March 22, confirming information from BFM-TV. He was placed under judicial supervision.
An investigation was opened following a complaint from a 26-year-old woman accusing a masseur at the Ritz of having raped her at the end of January.
According to her statements, reported by the continuous news channel, the masseur had “massaged her chest for a long time” before raping her “four times while she was lying on her back”. She finally “pushed the hand away” from her attacker during a new attempt and then left the establishment.
At the beginning of March, the Ritz declared that the masseur no longer worked in the establishment.
