Amazon Prime is expanding its program offering. The streaming platform has been hosting the catalog of the giant HBO since Thursday, March 16, which announced the end of its contract with OCS at the start of the year.
With this new Warner Pass, it will now be possible to have access to twelve Warner Bros Discovery production channels. Currently, only four channels are accessible: the entire HBO catalog, Adult Swim, Warner Bros. TV and Toonami.
But then, what content to watch? With the giant HBO, a whole range of world-famous series is coming, including Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, Chernobyl and Euphoria. The Warner Pass also hosts cult series from the 1990s and 2000s such as The Sopranos, True Detective, Sex and the City, Six Feet Under or Boardwalk Empire. Finally, the very last season of Succession will be available from March 27. The pass also includes sports broadcasts and content with Eurosport.
On the side of the catalog of Warner Bros. TV, there are other popular series such as Falling Skies, Gossip Girl or The Orville, and more recent Miracle Workers, Raised by Wolves, Visitors or The Flight Attendant. Amazon will stream select series exclusively and at no extra cost in 4K Ultra HD, including Game of Thrones, House of Dragon and The Last of Us.
Apart from films and series, anime are also featured on the Adult Swim and Toonami platforms with the complete Rick and Morty, My Hero Academia, Primal or Harley Quinn, whose season 4 should arrive in 2023. If all the details of the rest of the catalog are not yet known, Cartoonito, the recent chain of Warner Bros, will make its arrival on April 3.
For the launch of the Warner Pass, Amazon allows its subscribers to take advantage of 30 days free to discover the new catalog. Beyond that, the subscription will be €9.99 per month, in addition to the price of the Amazon Prime subscription set at €6.99 per month or €69.90 for the annual subscription. For students, the subscription is cheaper at €24 per year, after a 90-day free trial period.
