The finale is here and it’s getting dramatic. Bachelorette Sharon has had a crush on two men for a few episodes, now she has to make a decision. Attention spoilers! If you haven’t seen the finale in the stream yet and want to wait for the TV broadcast on June 28th from 8:15 p.m. on RTL, you shouldn’t read any further.

The Bachelorette’s parents and best friends rush to help. Everyone takes a close look at the chosen ones – Lukas, Jan and Steffen. But nobody can really help Sharon. Even if Mama feels “a soul mate” in Lukas, Sharon’s girlfriend puts it in a nutshell: “The struggle is real babe…”

Meanwhile, Sharon is still hoping for a miracle: “I hope that my heart can guide me – because if that doesn’t happen, I’ll really have a problem.” But this problem will only become apparent with the last rose, because the next decision is clear: Steffen has to go. In a closed-off alley in Bangkok, he experiences his personal “super meltdown”, but nevertheless says goodbye politely and lovingly.

It’s only now getting really difficult. On a romantic wooden boat, Jan and Sharon are cruising through the Bangkok night on what may be their last date. With so much romance, Jan is slowly getting scared: “It’s dangerous how absolutely it fits.” After the date, Sharon invites Jan to stay the night. The first sleepover date of this season. There’s no sleeping involved, reveals Sharon: “We didn’t want to sleep, we wanted to make the most of every second and that’s what we did.” The night left an impression on the Bachelorette: “Now I dare to say it like this: I would say that this date was perfect all round.” Jan uses the same word: “It was really perfect.”

Then comes the possibly last date with Lukas. In the TukTuk, the two travel arm in arm through Bangkok at night. Although they don’t notice much of it, as Lukas remarks: “I didn’t see anything from Bangkok. We could have driven in circles, I wouldn’t have checked it.” But he gets the flower shop that the two pass and gives the bachelorette a bouquet with the words: “Would you like to accept these flowers?” Not only that. Lukas is also allowed to stay overnight. This time, too, “every second is used”, as Sharon says afterwards. Again, she doesn’t want to say goodbye to her date. This time, too, tears flowed afterwards.

The struggle is real. For a short time, Sharon even considered not giving the last rose: “I don’t know how to come to a decision. […] Because: I want both!” But in the end she does it – over the roofs of Bangkok, barefoot, without a wig and in tears: “I’m scared of the moment, it’s running towards me, tears come to my eyes and I realize I can’t say it because I can don’t feel. I can’t send him home.”

But she can. To Lukas, she raves about the familiar feeling he gave her and tells him that she has a crush on him. However: “I feel very strongly for you, but my heart tells me that I still feel a little bit more for another man.” Lukas’ reaction shouldn’t make her decision any easier for Sharon: He hugs the crying bachelorette and whispers: “It’s fine, I know it’s not easy here.” In parting, he wishes her and Jan all the best, reminding her: “Concentrate on the beautiful, you’ve found someone who fits better.”

The nervous Jan also has to endure a little shock. Sharon introduces her declaration of love with the words: “But you’re not the guy I actually imagined.” Before finally redeeming him: “Jan, I fell in love with you and that’s why I want to ask you if you want to accept this last rose from the bottom of your heart.” The trip in the van, which both of them have been talking about since the first date, is supposed to start the next day.
