It’s been a year since Bob Odenkirk (59) suffered a heart attack on the set of “Better Call Saul”. On Twitter, the actor remembers the drastic day and thanks the fans. “Thank you to whoever you are,” Odenkirk begins his tweet. A year ago he briefly “flirted” with death, which gave him “a surge of goodwill and warmth.” “I will forever feel unworthy of this. I will always be grateful as well and try to pass it on. Thank you. No reply necessary.”
In an interview with “Entertainment Weekly”, Odenkirk recently confirmed how grateful he was for the sympathy of the many people. If you can get something good out of the whole thing, it could be that “other people over 50 go to their doctor and maybe have their heart checked twice”.
Odenkirk collapsed on the set of Better Call Saul in July 2021 while reportedly filming Point and Shoot, the eighth episode of season six. He later reported that he owed his life to the people on set who acted quickly. He doesn’t remember the day it happened or the next week and a half, he told People magazine in April. He returned to filming about a month after the incident.
