A leaked movie reveals Koepka rolling his eyes DeChambeau and cursing in frustration throughout a postround interview last weekend in the PGA Championship.
The viral video, published Monday night to societal networking programs, is a clip in the Golf Channel interview following Koepka’s second round Friday in Kiawah Island. As Golf Channel reporter Todd Lewis prepares to start the interview, Koepka appears to his right prior to an exaggerated roll of their eyes.
Subsequently as Koepka replies Lewis’ query about his round, DeChambeau walks in the shooter, a movement that left Koepka annoyed and distracted.
“I did not putt well, however I do not believe any of those men were planning to putt well with this end,” Koepka states before DeChambeau walks . “It is quite tough. I really don’t understand exactly what the other men have said, I simply found it tough to read occasionally.”
At the moment, DeChambeau and the other man are observed walking in the background of this shot. It’s uncertain whether DeChambeau states something, however, Koepka stops talking and shuts his eyes in frustration before attempting to continue his response.
Golf Channel never released the meeting and hadn’t commented about the leaked movie at Tuesday morning.
Koepka carded a 1-under-par 71 on Friday following an up-and-down around that included two eagles and four bogeys. He had been close to the top of the leaderboard all weekend but finally ended tied for second with Louis Oosthuizen, two shots supporting Phil Mickelson, that at age 50 became the oldest player to win a significant in history.
DeChambeau fought Sunday using a final-round 77 and completed at 3 over, 7 shots supporting Koepka and 9 supporting Mickelson.
Koepka reunite on Twitter by pointing to his four big championships; DeChambeau, that won last year’s U.S. Open, hadn’t won a major at the moment.
The golfers also battled in the 2019 Northern Trust, when Koepka was among many gamers to criticize DeChambeau for play.
