While she’s not sure if Jeff Bezos is reading her missive, she reminds the “third fortune in the world” that “it takes good, long teeth to make it in this world.” She is willing to sit on the fabulous fee offered – “200,000 euros for a day’s work” – even if it means depriving a charity of her choice “of 50,000 euros if she wins”, according to the rules of the program.
