CLEVELAND, Ohio – It’s been eight months since the Cavaliers’ NBA championship and it seems like a day doesn’t go by without seeing someone sporting their wine and gold.
Not one to pass on an opportunity to go to a Cavs game, I happily went to my first game of the season last week.
My excitement was palpable on Thursday when I saw a food stand I had never noticed before. A gluten-free hot dog on a gluten-free bun with a gluten-free beer? I must have been dreaming.
Fortunately for all of us who are gluten-free in Cleveland, this is just the beginning of the great options available at Quicken Loans Arena.
I connected with Kelly Fortune, general manager for Aramark, at the arena to learn about even more gluten-free choices.
Gluten-free beer and ciders are available throughout the arena, so regardless of where you’re sitting, you should have pretty easy access to a variety of alcoholic choices.
In regard to food, there are options on every level as well, although they vary based on specific location.
The food stand in Section 116 has the largest variety. According to Fortune, choices in this stand include gluten-free beer, gluten-free cider, a gluten-free hot dog bun, gluten-free Go-Picnic box, gluten-free marshmallow treats and other items.
Those lucky enough to be in the floor seats can order Red Bridge beer courtside. Level 2 and Level 4 suite visitors also have their own options such as stir fry, ribs and sushi.
I’m interested to hear your thoughts are about eating gluten-free at Quicken Loans Arena. Please let me know in the comments below.
