A small plane crashed in Westhampton on Sunday, federal and local officials said.
The Navion F had three people aboard as it was practicing landings and takeoffs at Gabreski Airport when it crashed at about 11:40 a.m., according to the FAA.
The conditions of those on board weren’t immediately disclosed.
“The FAA is en route to the scene,” FAA spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said. “The National Transportation Safety Board will be in charge of the investigation and will determine probable cause.”
