According to police, a 4-year-old Georgia boy shot himself accidentally with a gun while his mother was shopping in a Publix store.
Police in Dekalb County, Georgia announced that the fatal shooting of Miyell Hernandez took place at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Miyell, his mom, an infant, and a relative aged 13 arrived at the store at 3045 Panola Road. This is the address for a Publix supermarket.
According to the release, the mother entered the store by herself and the children remained at home.
Police said that Miyell accidentally shot his self inside the vehicle. Police said that Miyell, 13, ran into the business immediately to seek help.
The child, aged four years old, was taken to the hospital and later died. The police said that no charges were filed in this case.

According to the police department, an event will be held later in the month that will offer gun locks and storage tips.
