Assault-burglary, Rademaker Boulevard: Police arrested an 18-year-old Brook Park man who kicked in the front door of a house, hit a girl in the face, punched holes in the wall and stole the girl’s cell phone.
It happened at about 1 p.m. Jan. 21. Klasbahis The man was upset about a discussion he and the girl had on the phone earlier. Police arrested the man, a high school student, in school the next day. Police didn’t say how old the girl was. She was not badly hurt.
Disorderly conduct, Holland Road: Police forced a Parma man, 19, out of Brook Park Recreation Center, 17400 Holland, at about 5:40 p.m. Jan. 30 after he caused a disturbance inside.
The man had argued with another male during a basketball game, then wanted to fight the male. No one was hurt. The man was not arrested.
Grand theft auto, Brookpark Road: A 2007 Ford was reported stolen at about 8:15 p.m. Feb. 13 from the parking lot of Mo’s Marathon, 13915 Brookpark.
The victim had left the vehicle unlocked, with the engine running, while he was inside the gas station.
Grand theft auto, Brookpark Road: An unlocked 2001 Dodge Caravan was reported stolen at about 2:30 a.m. Feb. 11 from outside Gigi’s Lounge, 14500 Brookpark.
Grand theft auto, Leslie Drive: A 2015 Hyundai Veloster and a 2015 Chevrolet Traverse, both unlocked, were stolen late Feb. 9 or early Feb. 10 from a driveway. East Cleveland police later arrested a juvenile caught with the stolen vehicle.
Theft-criminal damaging, Brookpark Road: A wallet, driver’s license and credit card were reported stolen at about 1:40 a.m. Feb. 14 from a car parked outside Amber’s Cabaret, 13311 Brookpark. Someone smashed the vehicle’s driver’s-side window to get inside.
Operating a vehicle under the influence, Brookpark Road-West 139th Street: A Cleveland woman, 34, was arrested at about midnight Feb. 15 after police saw her speeding and driving recklessly.
The drunk woman was driving 56 mph in a 35-mph zone on Brookpark. Her car weaved in and out of its lane.
Theft, Glenway Drive: A purse containing $140, a credit card and Social Security card was reported stolen at about 10:30 p.m. Feb. 15 from an unlocked pickup truck parked in a driveway.
Sudden illness, Cynthia Drive: A Brook Park man, 34, was found lying in his yard at about 5 a.m. Feb. 12. He had overdosed on heroin. The man was taken to Southwest General Health Center in Middleburg Heights.
Sudden illness, Smith Road: An Olmsted Falls woman, 46, overdosed on heroin at about 9:40 a.m. Feb. 9 inside a Smith house. She was taken to Southwest General.
Sudden Illness, Smith Road: A woman who overdosed on heroin was found unconscious in her car, which was parked in her driveway, at about 12:30 p.m. Feb. 6. She was taken to Southwest General.
