A small helicopter crash-landed in the parking lot of a New Jersey apartment complex Friday evening, leaving one of the two people aboard with non-life-threatening injuries.
The pilot walked away unhurt after the chopper — which was flying from Richmond, Va., to Lincoln Park, NJ — went down in the Morris County community of Chatham.
His passenger complained of back pain and was taken to a hospital.
There were no injuries on the ground and none of the apartment buildings sustained damage.
A police spokesman said the pilot “crashed right in between the garages and the complex… there were a lot of angels out there.”
