Aggravated robbery, Mayfield Road: At 12:40 p.m. Feb. 13, two men robbed the US Bank branch at 5084 Mayfield Road. Four people were in the bank at the time. The suspects left the scene in a white Toyota. Police are investigating.
Found person, Chickadee Lane: At 7:20 p.m. Feb. 19, a woman reported that her 8-year-old nephew was missing. The boy was playing hide-and-seek with other youngsters and when he hid, he could not be found. An officer located the boy in an upstairs room in the woman’s house.
Escape, Mayfield Road: At 2:50 p.m. Feb. 19, police were contacted by an employee of Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights where a Lyndhurst prisoner who had complained of a swollen kidney had been taken for treatment.
The prisoner, a Lyndhurst man, 27, who had been arrested on drug charges, took the IV from his arm while at the hospital and left the facility wearing his hospital gown. He then got into a car driven by another person and left the scene.
Police stopped the car in Lyndhurst and again took the man into custody. The man was returned to the hospital.
Burglary, Ridgebury Boulevard: At 3:50 p.m. Feb. 18, a man called police stating that a woman he did not know was in his van, parked in his driveway. Next, the woman attempted to enter the man’s house through a locked door, using force to try and push in a screen window.
Police arrested the woman, 40, of Mayfield Heights. Charges are pending.
Disturbance, Oakmont Drive: At 1 p.m. Feb. 18, a caller reported that a female neighbor, 41, was yelling from Bahis Siteleri the neighbor’s porch and then, while nude, rolled herself down the porch steps. The woman’s husband took her to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
Fleeing and eluding, Ridgebury Boulevard: At 1:55 a.m. Feb. 18, police made a traffic stop on a car driven by a Mayfield Village man, 28, because the man did not stop at a stop sign. The man jumped from his car and ran between homes before being apprehended.
It was found that the man was drunk. He was charged with OVI and fleeing and eluding.
Theft, Wellington Road: At 2:25 p.m. Feb. 16, a man reported that someone stole a just-delivered package from his home’s front porch.
Hit-skip, Cedar Road: At 9:45 p.m. Feb. 15, a woman reported that her car had just been struck by a pickup truck. The truck’s driver continued on his way, westbound on Cedar Road.
A witness saw the truck pull into the Legacy Village lot, then leave that lot and head toward South Euclid. South Euclid police stopped the truck and found that the driver, 66, of Cleveland Heights, was intoxicated.
The man was charged with OVI, hit-skip and not driving within continuous lanes of travel.
Criminal trespassing, Glenlyn Road: At 9:15 p.m. Feb. 13, the night custodian at Brush High School, 4875 Glenlyn Road, reported that someone drove a Lincoln Continental, on the school’s running track. The car left before police arrived.
