That the Federal Minister of justice, Christine Lambrecht (SPD) to reconsider commanded the punishment for sexual violence offences against Minors and the protection is long overdue. But this should be after what has become known in the last few weeks and months about the perpetrators of violence from Lügde, Bergisch-Gladbach, Germany and Münster, the only response of the Federal government, it would be decided to be little, if not even wrong.

Because the legal basis for tougher action against the perpetrators, as well as for a more effective protection of children have long been available. Just the most recent, monstrous cases, however, show that a casual criminal law practice, as well as one of naivety, ignorance and Overwork embossed Family courts to mountains and immense risks for the protection of children. There it would recognise, probably even more than in the criminal context.
