Despite midsummer temperatures, the ongoing corona wave is not coming to an end. The nationwide 7-day incidence of infections detected rose again slightly in the past week, writes the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) in its weekly report on Thursday evening. “The increase mainly affected federal states in the middle and south of the country, and in particular the age groups from 70 years.” In the week before, the incidence had remained largely unchanged according to the RKI.
