Zachary Motta, of the Iselin section of Woodbridge, who was employed as an EMT at a New Brunswick hospital, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and possession of child pornography, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
Motta, who also served with the Iselin Volunteer Fire Company, was arrested at his home Friday after an investigation found that between October 2016 and February, he “had sexually explicit conversations on the internet with the boy,” according to the prosecutor’s office.
Motta sent explicit photos of himself and received photos from the boy, authorities said. The investigation began after the boy’s mother contacted authorities.
The investigation remains ongoing.
