Police have released surveillance photos of a suspect believed to be involved in a deception theft.
The New Jersey State Police said the man scammed a 79-year-old woman from Upper Deerfield Township into believing her grandson was in jail and needed money deposited to a Target gift card to be released.

The victim deposited $1,800 onto the card and gave the suspect the card number over the phone.
Police said the gift card was used at Target stores in Edison and Clark on Jan. 31. and released photos captured by surveillance cameras of the suspect.
